Elsa Kurt is a multi-genre, indie & traditionally published author of four contemporary women’s novels: Livvy Takes the Long Way, Lost and Found Girls, The Awkward Woman’s Guide To Dating, and Still Here. She is also the author of the YA fiction novel Into the Everwood (Book One) and motivational/inspirational companion book, Finding Beauty in the Imperfections of Life. Elsa has also written several children’s books under the name Melanie Cherniack, all with themes of encouragement, empowerment & uplifting messaging. From her Mindfulness Series, geared toward Kindergarten & First Grade: Lola Learns To Control Her Temper, Lola Learns About Responsibility, Lola Learns To Be A Good Sport, and Lola Learns About the Green-Eyed Monster. For ages 9-11, she began her GoodHuman Society Series, book one is Annie’s Great Idea. For ages newborn-four, she wrote: A Book About You and Look Outside Your Window.
Elsa began writing in 2012, releasing her first children’s book in 2013. Since then she has made writing her full-time career. She can be found at various events signing books and meeting fellow book lovers, most recently at the 2017 Fall in Love with New England Romance Reader & Author Conference in beautiful New Hampshire. In 2018 she will have two novellas published with Crave Publishing as part of their Crave: Country Anthology & Crave: Loyalty Anthology. She is also working on Book Two of her Everwood Series, yet to be titled, as well as a prequel to Lost & Found Girls, titled Finders Keepers. In addition to those projects, she has a ‘top-secret’ novel in the works.
Elsa is a happily married mother of two grown daughters and resides in New England. In August of 2016 she was honored to be the feature story in the local publication, Wethersfield Life. Elsa can be found on social media:
