Livvy Takes the Long Way is my first novel in the Contemporary Women’s Literature genre, which is  quite different from my previous work. Up until now it has consisted of children’s stories, a teen/coming of age/modern day fairy tale novel, a collection of short stories & a very cheeky older women’s ‘survival’ guide. As such, I decided to go with a different pen name, Elsa Kurt, so that the work stands separately (yet not secretly) from the rest.

Livvy Takes The Long Way is a hard look at love and hate, marriage and divorce, parenting, and the hard choices we make in life, all seen and told through Livvy’s eyes. We follow her through misery and happiness, mistakes and lessons learned, and most importantly, growth. Livvy, like so many of us in life, took the long way to true happiness and fulfillment, and shows that it’s never too late to change your path and find your way.
