A Very Gif-y Story

In writing my last blog post (moments ago) I had to find some gifs to  humorously punctuate my paragraphs. I freaking love gifs (and memes). One of them, a Betty Draper (Mad Men) gif, really got me laughing so I started imagining  a story told primarily via gifs from the cast of Mad Men. I give you, the dinner party:

How I imagine it’ll go.

 

In reality, 30 minutes in to the party, my husband says:

“You’re drunk already?! Nice. Nice Job.”

I Reply:

Him: Okay.

Me: Fine, maybe a little bit.

Him: Well, I guess I’d better catch up then!

 

Two hours later, me: Who is that redhead you were talking to over there?

 

Him: It’s my cousin. You’ve met her. Three times

Me: Hmpf. Whatever.

Five Minutes later, Me: Babe! Babe. You’re so cute. I love you. I, like, SO, love you.

Him: Ahh, there’s my little ‘I love you, man” drunk.

 

Me:

Him:

Him again: And by the way,

Me: Um, sure.

 

Him:

 

 Us:

 

Us:

Us.

Sigh. I loved that show…
